Today I read that Israel has agreed to establish a humanitary corridor on the Gaza strip. Well isn't that a bit too late?
- Around 90 dead children too late
- A bombed university too late
- 3 UNITED NATIONS Schools too late
- a couple of mosques too late
- More than 2500 wounded too late
- exhausted(mentally and physically) doctors and nurses working on gaza too late
I have also seen that Ehud Olmert, Israels prime minister, takes the time to visit his wounded soldiers that carry out this war.

When I know that the hospitals in Gaza are in critical condition it is unfair that there are empty beds in Israeli hospitals. And that theses hospitals have enough supply and staff to treat the wounded. It is also unfair that the Israeli civilians have the possibility to be evacuated to a place far from Ashqelon and Sderot.
The organization I work for here has a large international network, and recetly we have received emails from previous participants of programs we organize, colleagues and friends from different countries. They have already participated in demontsrations, protests, written articles to newspapers and signed petitions to show their solidarity with the people of Gaza in a non-violent way. I have also seen on the television that there have been a lot of demonstrations and protests all over the world. some demonstrations also managed to gather many thousand demonstrators.
Here in Bethlehem people also show their anger and frustration through demonstrations.

There have also been reactions around the West Bank and in Israel. In Tel Aviv Israelis showed their support last week, and in Jerusalem there have also been demonstrations.

So far there have been no suicide attacks, and less than 5 civilians on the Israeli side have been killed. So how Israel can still defend their attacks is something I just cannot understand nor support. They say that they want to eliminate Hamas, and protect their citizens, but that doesn't explain why they are opressing palestinians on the West Bank. The situation is critical in Gaza at the moment, but the occupation also lives on on the West Bank.
As Marwan Bishara, Al Jazeera's senior political analyst says
"It (Israel) cannot bomb its way into peaceful co-existence. Israel is trying to do all it can to destroy Hamas but with more than 400 dead, there will be more than 400 more new recruits in Gaza."
It must be so hard for you guys, to have such a situation right outside your back yards.
SvarSlettI am going to a Gaza solidarity demonstration today in Oslo. The images we have been seeing in CNN are extremely disturbing.
Hope you are holding on, i know how passionate you can be in topics such as these.
